Poverty Helps Save our Planet
There are thousands, if not maybe hundred ways of saving mother earth, scientist and ecologist have been looking for ways of doing so. The government dives in, to promote eco ideas. But there are few things that people often failed to realize; Poverty brews its own way of saving Earth in the least expected ways. Open your eyes to see.
Poverty
The Reality:Poverty equals to Eco friendly
Ever since man realized that they are the culprits on destroying their own ecosystem, man desperately tried to think of ways on reversing the feared outcome of doomsday. Scientist, ecologist, the government and some private sectors joint hands on hopes and ways of saving us, but as we know; not even halfway there yet.
Well, let's look at the picture in a different way. There are people whom had no ideas of conserving our planet, haven't gone with eco-talks, haven't been educated, and yet doing their share as an obligation and as resources for their way of life.
- A father of five, who lives in the wasteland would pick on some pet bottles and plastic containers and sell it for a penny just to have what they consider as a meal. Some would graze the dumpster to find food scrap to dine with: which other people considers as dog food. Now that's recycling huh? Not the way they taught us right?
- A single mother picking on waste bags and dilapidated streamers,as building materials for their garbage- made shed to somehow keep her family from the rain. Recycling?
- A 7 year old boy would walk a mile just to be at school, barefooted fried by the sun and sometimes soaked in the rain. No car, no fare, less pollutant in the air, right?
- An elderly washes her clothes from the rain, zero detergent, and pure hand washing. Energy efficiency, no washer needed, no detergents less pollution.
- A crippled man, no land owned collected cans, fill it with dirt, planted some shrubs nurtured from a sewer, hoping for a produce the next day, because they just had an empty stomach yesterday. Hmm, hydroponics?Green.
Everyone have their own ideas to share. Do your part. For some have been doing it for your sake, SELFLESSLY..

Yes, it may take some time to cure our earth, pity we just had a major catastrophe here in the Philippines, typhoons get stronger, combined with the rising water level globally turns out to be a deadly one for my Filipino brothers in Mindanao Philippines.

You are so right. We must strive to help and let our conscience point us in the direction of re-us, recycle and reduce the waste.
